Proactive Solutions is an acne skin care brand that features products designed to treat and prevent acne breakouts.  One of the reasons why the product line has received so much exposure is due their celebrity endorsements.  You have to admit, the company has been successful in getting top celebs such as Vanessa Williams, Jessica Simpson and Katy Perry to help promote and advertise their product.  But since the brand utilizes different celebrities, you wonder if those who previously endorsed the product continue to use it?

This may be a question for those who are die-hard fans of celebs who have endorsed Proactiv Solution products.  It’s obvious one of the reasons why people purchase the product is because of a celebrity they idolize and adore.  But does the celebrity idolize and adore this skin care product?  Many of us may never know since we don’t hear too often about past celebrities and their continued association of the product.  It’s true the company needs to diversify their marketing in order to gain profit; this may be why they use different celebrities.  But on another note, it would be interesting to learn if any previous endorsers still use the product.  Better yet, which ones actually used the product verses getting paid to say they did when they didn’t?

Justin Bieber is one of the latest endorsers who claim he faithfully uses the products.  He’s been seen in infomercials praising the products and claiming he’s happy with his results.  It’s funny because many celebs who are on their way rising to fame don’t often present themselves as someone having skin issues until an endorsement deal comes along.

Many celebs who claim to use Proactiv often don’t say how long they have been using the product before they are presented in a television commercial, infomercial or product website prancing about their results.  When celebs present the product, they often go right into the “best results I’ve ever gotten” pitch and work on selling the product.  Every so often, celebs may be alongside an average consumer who claims to also use Proactiv Solutions.  Of course, viewers don’t know if the “average consumer” is a paid actor or someone who actually uses the products.

If the products work so well, then why don’t we hear from past celebrity endorsers say it still works for them?  Many consumers who claim the product works, only worked for a certain period until their skin became immune; meaning the product no longer was effective.  Maybe the same effect is true for certain past celebs?

There are celebs with naturally beautiful skin, but then again, there are average consumers that have the same advantage.  The company could just be in a good position to hire people with flawless skin and tell them to recite lines that sound good in the ears of potential consumers.  While the company website provides information about current celebs claiming to use the product, many testimonials from the past feature highlights from average users.  There isn’t much mention of previous endorsers still using their products.
